Streamlining 8 staff
Reporting to the inspection team, Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Hong Vu affirmed: The Department has implemented forms of collecting opinions and evaluating the level of satisfaction with public services provided by the unit and the implementation results.
In addition, the Department organized inspection teams to enforce discipline and administrative discipline at its affiliated units; completed the review of the list of administrative procedures (AP) in the fields of labor, meritorious people and social affairs at the provincial, district and commune levels and submitted 112 APs to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation.

Implementing Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (12th term), the Department has reviewed and evaluated the performance of tasks of specialized departments and offices and developed a project to reorganize the apparatus.
Accordingly, the Department has drafted a Project to dissolve the Home for Martyrs' Relatives in Nghe An, solicited comments from relevant departments, branches and units and is completing the submission documents, expected to be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval in October 2019.
At the same time, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has coordinated with agencies and units to review and rearrange vocational training facilities in the spirit of Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (12th term); Draft a project to merge the Continuing Education Centers of 4 districts and towns into the Secondary Schools under the Department and continue to implement when there is a policy of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.

In the first 7 months of 2019, the total number of files received and processed (including those carried over from 2018): 33,103 files; of which 32,633 files were returned on time; there were no overdue files; 470 files were being processed.
Reorganize vocational schools
Through the inspection of the settlement of administrative procedures at the departments and units under the Department, the Inspection Team pointed out that: The review of administrative procedures of some specialized departments and units under the Department has not been timely according to the progress and requirements of regulations; the rate of using official mailboxes is still low; the results of implementing the key tasks of the administrative reform year are not many,...
Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Dinh Ly assessed that the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has focused on leading administrative reform work; at the same time, he requested the Department to continue to pay attention to directing and creating changes in administrative reform work; review and perfect the sector's institutions to strengthen management and operation and perform assigned tasks.

In particular, the Department needs to focus on leading the key tasks of the Administrative Reform Year, which are reforming administrative procedures, simplifying and shortening them; and preparing conditions for handling administrative procedures at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center.
At the same time, the unit also needs to continue to effectively organize and implement the Project on streamlining staff, reorganizing the apparatus, merging continuing education centers; reviewing and dissolving ineffective vocational secondary schools; strengthening public ethics and office culture; enhancing the application of information technology in management, administration, and public service execution, etc.
