Visiting and encouraging the wounded and sick soldiers, Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An Doan Hong Vu affirmed: The great sacrifice of the wounded and sick soldiers is the pride of the young generation today. The Party and the State, political and social organizations have had many policies and gratitude programs to ease the pain of war that the soldiers are carrying, hoping that they can live happily and healthily in the peaceful and prosperous atmosphere of the country.

Also at the visit, the Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs presented practical gifts to seriously wounded and sick soldiers. Here, many doctors who could not drive their wheelchairs to the hall due to illness were also visited by the working group of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. "You must try to live happily, live healthily, and have an optimistic spirit so that we can be given new motivations," said Comrade Doan Hong Vu.
Thanking the delegation for their sincerity, representatives of the two centers expressed their deep gratitude for the attention of the departments, branches as well as the leaders of the Party and State in the past time. In particular, during the month of gratitude in July this year, the delegations received more than 60 gifts each with a value of up to more than 500 million VND/Center from units and organizations inside and outside the province.
*Control CenterNghe An War Invalids Nursing Home is a place that is nurturing, treating, nursing and rehabilitating 62 wounded, sick soldiers and wives of martyrs.
The wounded and sick soldiers cared for by the unit include three generations: those who fought against the French, those who fought against the Americans, those who protected the border, and those who performed international duties; the oldest is 91 years old, the youngest is 54 years old.*Control CenterNghe An Mental Health Center is a place to take care of 90 patients with mental illness. Of these, 59 are disabled soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of meritorious people with mental illness.
The center receives, manages, cares for, and treats wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, children of martyrs, children of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals, and mentally ill people who are policy beneficiaries, due to injuries, mental illness, and have a particularly severe rate of injuries and illnesses in the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
