On the afternoon of July 16, during his working program in Nghe An, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center.

Over the past 50 years, Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center has received nearly 1,000 wounded soldiers and sick soldiers from the battlefields of the resistance wars against France and the US to save the country, the war to protect the northern and southwestern borders, and international missions in Laos and Cambodia for convalescence and treatment.

In 2017, in parallel with the nursing task, the Center was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to organize rotational nursing care for meritorious people and their relatives according to the provisions of the Law. Up to now, the Center has organized nursing care for nearly 3,000 subjects in accordance with the regulations.

The Center is currently nurturing, treating and implementing policies for 55 wounded and sick soldiers from the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh. The wounded and sick soldiers here suffer from various injuries and diseases: such as amputations, spinal cord atrophy, spinal paralysis, paralysis of the limbs, blindness in both eyes; traumatic brain injury causing mental and neurological disorders...

Currently, due to old age and frequent recurrence of injuries, wounded and sick soldiers are often treated at Military Hospital 4, and must also be treated at leading military hospitals such as Central Military Hospital 108, Military Hospital 103, and other leading hospitals...

Expressing his emotions when coming to Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission said that in these days, the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people are carrying out many activities to honor, show gratitude, and show gratitude to policy families, people who have contributed to the Party, the country, and the people.

Emphasizing that Nghe An is a place rich in revolutionary tradition, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission said that, in various periods of history, generations of Nghe An youth have made many contributions and sacrifices in the struggles for national independence, to protect peace and build the country in the period of renovation.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission commended the efforts of the cadres, civil servants, public employees, and staff of the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center in the past time for their dedicated care and treatment of wounded and sick soldiers.

In particular, the wounded and sick soldiers during the war were brave and willing to sacrifice for the country, for the people, for the cause of protecting the Fatherland and for noble international duty. In peacetime, they tried to overcome physical pain, continuing to contribute to the country, society and family with the spirit of "disabled but not useless".

In the coming time, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia hopes that the wounded and sick soldiers will have good health, overcome physical pain, and continue to pass on the fire, the desire to contribute, and the revolutionary ideals to the next generation to continue the tradition of their ancestors in the cause of national renewal.

Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia said that the country is continuing to enter the renewal process, and our Party and State pay attention to social security policies.
