On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), children from the wards of Truong Vinh, Thanh Vinh, Vinh Hung, Vinh Phu, Vinh Loc and Cua Lo had a meaningful visit to the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center. The songs, the singing, the small gifts and the sincere, warm feelings were a great source of spiritual encouragement for the war invalids.

Children from wards in the old Vinh City who visited war invalids at the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center are members of the "Green Earth" Group, a volunteer group established in 2016, with the participation of both parents and students, organizing many activities aimed at protecting the environment and repaying gratitude.

The children performed many performances for the wounded soldiers and visited the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center. Clip: Diep Thanh

In addition to the cultural programs, exchange and Q&A activities were organized with the enthusiastic participation of students. These activities help students not only learn about history in books but also "touch" history with their emotions and hearts, turning dry knowledge into vivid lessons. Photo: Diep Thanh

Seeing the wounds and listening to stories about the years of fighting, the children will feel more deeply the value of peace, independence and freedom that they are enjoying. From there, national pride and the awareness of "remembering the source of water" are naturally nurtured and cultivated. Photo: Diep Thanh
