Nghe An Department of Home Affairs announced the decision on organizational structure and personnel work.
On the afternoon of March 3, Nghe An Department of Home Affairs held a conference to announce the decision on organizational structure and staff.
Attending the conference were comrades: Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Tuan Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Also attending were representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
At the conference, representatives of the Nghe An Department of Home Affairs announced the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment of the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Announcing the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work. Accordingly, comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, former Director of the Department of Home Affairs (old) holds the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs.
4 comrades holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs include: Dau Dinh Duong - former Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs (old), Nguyen Thi Mai Thuong - former Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs (old), Vi Ngoc Quynh - former Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (old), Le Van Linh - former Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board.
The conference announced the decisions to establish departments under the Department and appoint leaders and managers of departments and units under the Department.
Accordingly, Nghe An Department of Home Affairs has a total of 87 civil servants; 8 contracts, 160 officials with general and professional advisory organizations including: Office; Department Inspectorate; Emulation and Reward Department (on the basis of reorganizing the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board).
In addition to the above 3 departments, the organizational structure of the Department of Home Affairs also has 07 specialized departments at the Department, including:
- Department of Organization and Non-Governmental Organizations;
- Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees;
- Department of Government Construction;
- Administrative Reform Department;
- Department of Meritorious People;
- Department of Labor - Employment - Labor Safety;
- Planning and Finance Department.
- Units under the Department include:
+ Historical archives center;
+ Nghe An Employment Service Center;
+ Nghe An Center for Nursing for People with Revolutionary Contributions;
+ Management Board of Vietnam - Laos Martyrs Cemetery;
+ Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center;
+ Nghe An psychiatric nursing home for war invalids.
In the coming time, the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center and the Nghe An Mental Health War Invalids Nursing Area will be merged into the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center according to the approval decision of the Provincial People's Committee.
At the conference, the decision of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to establish the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs was announced; the decision to appoint and introduce the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Nghe An Department of Home Affairs for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 13 comrades, appointing comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Nghe An Department of Home Affairs.
Also at the conference, a signing ceremony of the Minutes of Handover between the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (old) and the Department of Home Affairs (new) regarding civil servants, employees, finance, assets, Party work, and Union work took place.
Speaking at the assignment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phung Thanh Vinh highly appreciated the advisory work of the Department in implementing Resolution 18 of the Central Executive Committee in the province and the process of arrangement and merger between the two units was carried out in a very democratic and objective manner, setting out clear, public and transparent criteria for selecting comrades to head departments and units.
He also requested that in the coming time, the collective leadership, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department of Home Affairs continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity and high responsibility, build specific working regulations, clearly assign responsibilities; improve skills and expertise to successfully complete assigned tasks.
At the same time, advisory, synthesis and professional organizations, and public service units need to quickly stabilize the organization, assign leadership, and arrange work for each civil servant, public employee and employee to ensure continuous and effective work according to the plan and work program of the Department and each unit.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phung Thanh Vinh also believes that with a larger and stronger team, this is a condition for the Department of Home Affairs to better and more effectively perform the functions and tasks of the unit.
Also at the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Department of Home Affairs presented flowers and gifts to congratulate leaders, officials and civil servants who retired or transferred jobs./.
