On the morning of March 26, Nghe An Department of Health issued Official Dispatch No. 1039/SYT-NVY on accelerating the measles vaccination campaign to the Provincial Center for Disease Control, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Medical Centers of districts, towns and Vinh city.

Nghe An Department of Health requests: Medical Centers of districts, towns and Vinh city to direct Commune Health Stations to urgently deploy the measles vaccination campaign for children from 6 months to 10 years old in the area and conduct catch-up vaccination for children who have postponed vaccination, completing as soon as possible according to the approved Plan of the Department of Health.
Promote regular and continuous communication activities with diverse forms, concise and easy-to-understand content about measles; at the same time, focus on mobilizing people to get their children vaccinated against measles in common and local languages. In particular, have specific solutions to mobilize people who are concerned about recent post-vaccination reactions not to get their children fully vaccinated.

Strengthen inspection, supervision, professional guidance, urging and supporting local units in implementing the measles vaccination campaign plan. Submit reports on vaccination progress and results to the Provincial Center for Disease Control before 3:00 p.m. on March 27, 2025.
