In the teaser that was just released, the audience could not help but feel heartbroken when Phuong Thanh played the role of a wife being beaten and tortured by her husband (actor Truong Thanh Long) with slaps from the sky. The climax of the suffering was when the wife ran out of the house to avoid the violence and was hit by a car.

The singer said that this was one of the scenes that the entire crew was extremely worried about her, but with her "reckless" nature and wanting the most realistic footage, Phuong Thanh still wanted to do it herself without a stunt double. The image of the female singer being hit by a car, covered in blood, falling on the ground made many people watching the teaser shudder.

Sharing about this project, Ms. Chanh said: "Every day when I read the newspaper or watch the news, I feel choked up, sympathetic and sorry for women, especially in rural areas, who are suffering from unjustified beatings from abusive husbands, drunkards, gamblers, drug addicts... Many of them just because they love their children, have to silently endure, living a life of hardship both physically and mentally."

The short film "Let Go" is the voice of Phuong Thanh with the desire to contribute to alerting everyone to protect and ease the pain of women who are living in a situation of violence from their husbands.

The theme song was composed by musician Duong Khac Linh specifically for Ms. Chanh's voice. The short film is expected to be released on Vietnamese Family Day, June 28.
