Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai said: “In previous years, customers only went to Vinh and Do Luong to buy fresh flowers for Tet when Tet was just around the corner. However, this year, due to the complicated epidemic situation and busy work, most people are reluctant to travel. Instead of going directly to the flower shops, they choose to buy flowers online, order in advance and set a date to pick up the flowers.”

According to Ms. Tuyet Mai, most customers order flowers typical for Tet such as: Nhat Tan peach blossoms, gladiolus, dahlias, roses, snow plum, willow... Currently, Ms. Mai has only finalized the quantity and type of flowers for customers, but cannot finalize the price because the garden will only quote the price of Tet flowers after December 23.

Ms. Hoang Thi Nga Anh, a customer, said: “Normally, I buy flowers online for everyday use, so I also order flowers online for Tet. I order through pictures, send them to the seller, and trust each other, so I don’t have to deposit money. I also ask them to make a vase and arrange the flowers for me. Most account owners advertise flowers and ornamental plants typical of Tet such as peach blossoms, kumquats, lilies, snow plums, etc. The number of customers commenting to order is also quite large, most of whom order flowers in advance and only receive the flowers and pay on the 27th or 28th of Tet.

The exact selling prices of flowers have not been announced, depending on the market near Tet, but according to business owners, prices have not increased dramatically. According to a survey, the price of peach blossom ranges from 1.5-4 million VND/branch; wild plum from 500,000 VND - 2 million VND/branch; Nhat Tan mini peach blossom costs 300,000-700,000 VND/branch; snow mai and willow ranges from 180,000 - 250,000 VND/bunch; double lily costs 700,000 - 900,000 VND/10 branches...
