Exciting charity activities to give gifts on Lunar New Year 2018

Giving gifts to poor households in Hung Nguyen:
On the afternoon of February 5, Mr. Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province presented gifts to poor households in Hung Nguyen.

10 gifts were given to poor households, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
On the same afternoon, the Hung Nguyen Fatherland Front Committee received 30 gifts, totaling 15 million VND, from the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province to give to poor households.
Tet gifts are a source of spiritual encouragement for poor families every Tet holiday./.

On the afternoon of January 5, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Quynh Luu district organized a ceremony to give Tet gifts for Mau Tuat 2018 to families with two or more disabled people and orphans.

On this occasion, the District Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans presented 219 gifts to 132 families with 2 or more disabled people, 62 orphans and 25 disabled people and orphans who are ethnic minorities in the mountainous commune of Quynh Thang.

Handing over the house "Great Unity"
On the afternoon of February 5, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province coordinated with the Fatherland Front of Quy Chau district to hand over the "Great Unity" house to Lim Van Hoa, a 4th grade student at Chau Hanh II Primary School, Chau Hanh commune (Quy Chau).
The house was started by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province on December 31, 2017, designed with 2 rooms, with a usable area of nearly 60 m2.2, total cost is more than 70 million VND. Of which, Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province supports 50 million VND.

Lim Van Hoa has a particularly difficult situation, orphaned, living alone in a temporary house for a long time, but he always tries to overcome his circumstances to study well and is loved by his teachers and friends.
After Nghe An newspaper wrote about her situation and will to live, many benefactors supported her with both cash and material. The Vietnam Buddhist Association of Nghe An province gave her 50 million VND to build a solidarity house.
Also on this occasion, the Association for the Support of the Disabled and Orphans of Quy Chau district presented a breeding cow worth 10 million VND to Lim Van Hoa./.

Tet program for poor students
On February 5, Huong Son Secondary School coordinated with the District Education Promotion Association and the Justice Department of Tan Ky District People's Committee to organize a Tet program for poor students.
On this occasion, school representatives presented 46 gifts including rice, bicycles and cash, totaling nearly 18 million VND in support to 46 excellent students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties.

To have these meaningful gifts, the school mobilized collectives, individuals from agencies, units and donations from cadres, teachers, staff and students of the school.
In particular, the school's students organized groups to donate money from breakfast or collecting scrap paper and scrap to contribute to sharing, encouraging and demonstrating the spirit of "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves" of the teachers and students before the Lunar New Year 2018.
That same morning,The Youth Union of Military Region 4 coordinated with the Military Command of Tan Ky district to present 20 gifts to poor, excellent students who overcame difficulties at Ky Son Primary School (Tan Ky).
On this occasion, the Youth Union of Military Region 4 awarded 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to 20 excellent students who overcame difficulties and 150 gifts including cakes and candies worth 3 million VND to the school's students.

"Charity porridge" program
On the morning of February 5, the Nghia Dan District Youth Union in collaboration with the Nghia Trung Commune Youth Union, Nghia Dan Town and a number of philanthropists organized the program "Charitable Porridge Pot".
