Exciting Youth Competition on Traffic Safety
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of October 17, the Departmental round of the Youth Traffic Safety Contest, Cluster 3, was held at Vinh University. Participating in this cluster competition were 15 teams from a number of departments, branches, sectors, and Universities and Colleges located in the province.

Traffic order and safety is currently a burning issue for the whole society. The consequences of traffic accidents are one of the obstacles to the socio-economic development of the country and each locality.
In particular, the current situation of traffic law violations among teenagers is on the rise. Because this group is very easily agitated, their awareness of traffic participation is limited, leading to violations of traffic safety laws.

Faced with that situation, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized the "Youth with Traffic Safety 2017" contest to contribute to improving the effectiveness of propaganda and education on traffic safety laws and responding to the Traffic Safety Year 2017 with the theme "Building traffic culture among youth".
Speaking and opening the contest, Mr. Hoang Quoc Hao - Director of the Department of Justice, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, hoped that through the contest, awareness and consciousness of traffic safety will be continuously raised, creating positive changes in attitudes and behaviors of union members and young people.

The teams go through four mandatory rounds including greeting, multiple choice, presentation, and skit.The contest takes place over 2 days, October 17 and 18. The closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the preliminary round of cluster 3 will take place on the afternoon of October 18.
Previously, the preliminary round of cluster 1, including 10 units from mountainous and midland districts and towns, was held in Anh Son district. Competition cluster number 2 includes 11 teams from Vinh city, districts and towns in the delta and coastal areas, held in Hung Nguyen district. |
