Early payment of benefits to people with revolutionary contributions

(Baonghean.vn) - Voters in some localities recommended: The province needs to balance the budget to soon pay benefits to people with revolutionary contributions after being awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Regarding this issue, the Provincial People's Committee responded as follows:

To have funds to pay for the reward money under Decision No. 98/2006/QD-TTg dated May 5, 2006 of the Prime Minister on awarding certificates of merit of ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to those with achievements in participating in the resistance war against France and the US, the Provincial People's Committee worked directly with the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Finance on this funding source.

However, through working with the Ministries, the Ministries are currently synthesizing data from localities to submit to the Prime Minister support plans.

Because the beneficiaries of Nghe An province's policies are too large (nearly 80,000 beneficiaries), the local budget cannot balance the funding source to advance payments to the beneficiaries.
