Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump had a phone conversation about the situation in North Korea, a Kremlin spokesman said on February 13.

During the phone call, the US President offered to help Russia investigate the serious plane crash last weekend that killed 71 people.

The phone call comes as inter-Korean relations have warmed in recent weeks after North Korean leader Kim Jong-un offered to send a delegation to the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics.
