The strangeness of SLNA's left-back position

It is worth mentioning that the two players mentioned above are both right-footed, something rarely seen in modern football. However, witnessing Van Sy Son and Tran Dinh Dong play, everyone must admit that they were born to play in the outermost position on the left wing of the defense.
There is no need to analyze the playing style in detail, no need to list all the titles, everyone is clear about the talent and importance of Van Sy Son to the Vinh team, especially in the period from the late 90s of the last century to the early 2000s. In such a situation, SLNA's coaching staff had to accept the risk of assigning the left-back position to young player Truong Dac Khanh (2009 season). With a strong physical foundation and a rather "strange" left foot, the player from Quynh Luu always completed the assigned tasks excellently. Unfortunately, Truong Dac Khanh fell into the path of vice and had his contract terminated by SLNA at the age of 23 (in 2011).
