Eight signs begin to appear after 2 days of Omicron infection
The Omicron variant has symptoms similar to the common cold and an incubation period of 2 days or more.
Omicron has caused a wave of anxiety as the latest mutation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus has the ability to transmit incredibly quickly.
According to data from December 31, the UK has around 250,000 cases of Omicron.
The first case of Omicron infection in the UK was recorded on November 27. Thus, in just one month, cases have spiraled from single digits to a quarter of a million.
Overall, Omicron symptoms appear to be milder than those of other SARS-CoV-2 strains, especially in vaccinated people.
However, many people still become seriously ill and some have died after being infected with Omicron.

The three official symptoms of Covid-19 are persistent cough, fever, loss of taste/smell. However, many people do not experience any of these symptoms when infected with Delta, Omicron.
Many people have compared the signs ofOmicronwith common colds including itchy throat and runny nose.
From data from the UK, US, and South Africa, experts around the world have identified eight key symptoms of Omicron. They warn that these symptoms are likely to appear in the early stages of the disease.
These include sore throat, lower back pain, runny/stuffy nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing, night sweats, body aches.
These symptoms can appear as early as two days after exposure to someone infected with Omicron. However, some people may not develop symptoms until 14 days after exposure. That’s why if you’ve been exposed to the virus, you should get tested and self-isolate for 10 days.
Ryan Roach, CEO of health insurer Discovery Health (South Africa), commented that evidence shows that Omicron symptoms seem to appear within 3 days.
People with mild cases of Covid-19 usually feel unwell for about two weeks. However, many are experiencing discomfort that lasts for months.
