3 suspects detained in case of man shot dead at night in Cua Lo town

As of the morning of July 25, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Police is still coordinating with professional departments and Cua Lo Town Police to focus on investigating the murder case that occurred in Thu Thuy Ward, causing the death of Nguyen Quoc Hung (born in 1984, residing in Nghi Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town).

According to Nghe An Newspaper, the police are currently detaining three suspects believed to be involved in the death of Nguyen Quoc Hung.

The identities of the three subjects include: Duong Van D. (born in 1996); Nguyen Van T. (born in 1989), residing in Nghi Thuy ward; Truong Quoc U. (born in 1993), residing in Thu Thuy ward, Cua Lo town.

Earlier, at around 11:15 p.m. on July 23, local authorities and town police received a report from residents that Mr. Hung was injured and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. However, Mr. Hung died from a wound to the abdomen.

Upon receiving the report, the police sent officers to examine the scene and summoned those involved to clarify Hung’s death. The police later seized a gun from a ditch near the scene.

Initial information, at the time of the incident, Mr. Hung was said to be with 3 men at a house in Thu Thuy ward. There, due to a conflict, the two sides argued.

Extracting security camera data, the police identified these 3 men who took Mr. Hung to the emergency room that night. The victim's family said that when they received the news and arrived at the hospital, Mr. Hung was dead with a wound through his abdomen, suspected to be from a gunshot wound.

It is known that Mr. Hung is a freelancer and has 2 young children. The cause of the incident is being clarified by the police.
