Criminal detention of 2 subjects for murder while drinking
Having a conflict while drinking, Le Thanh Nam (17 years old) and Tran Tuan Anh (22 years old) used a knife to chase and slash one person to death.
On February 27, the Criminal Police Department of Vinh Phuc Province Police announced that it had just issued a decision to temporarily detain two suspects, Le Thanh Nam, born in 2003, and Tran Tuan Anh, born in 1998, both from Vu Di Commune, Vinh Tuong District, Vinh Phuc Province, to investigate the act of murder.

Previously, at around 1:30 a.m. on February 26, 2020, Vinh Tuong District Police received a report from the public about a fight between two groups of young people at a night restaurant in Doi Can residential group, Vinh Tuong town.
As a result, Mr. Duong Van Luc, born in 1991, in Dong Trieu district, Quang Ninh province was stabbed to death, the perpetrators fled the scene.
Upon receiving the report, the Provincial Police Department assigned the Criminal Police Department to coordinate with Vinh Tuong District Police to investigate, verify, and arrest the perpetrator as soon as possible.
By 1 p.m. the same day, the task force had identified the perpetrators and decided to temporarily detain Le Thanh Nam and Tran Tuan Anh to investigate the murder.
At the police station, Le Thanh Nam and Tran Tuan Anh confessed that it was due to a personal conflict while drinking between Le Thanh Nam and Tran Tuan Anh's group and another group of young people drinking at the restaurant, including Duong Van Luc.
When the fight broke out, Le Thanh Nam and Tran Tuan Anh used a switchblade and a machete to chase and stab Duong Van Luc, leading to his death.
Currently, the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police is consolidating the case file for processing according to regulations./.
