5th grade male student in Nghe An tragically drowned while bathing in canal
(Baonghean.vn) - While swimming in a canal, a 5th grade male student unfortunately drowned. Although his friends discovered him and called for adults to come and rescue him, the male student still could not escape the "river god's mouth".
The tragic incident occurred on the afternoon of April 22. According to some witnesses, due to the hot weather, the 5th grade boy (identity not yet determined) and his friends went to the canal flowing through Hamlet 9, Quynh Hong Commune, Quynh Luu District to cool off. While bathing, he unfortunately slipped and fell into the middle of the canal.
Upon discovering the incident, friends immediately called for help but it was too late. Immediately after that, people started searching. The body of the unfortunate victim has now been found and handed over to the family and local authorities.
It is known that drowning incidents often occur in this canal during the summer. Two months ago, a young man was also found drowning in this canal.
