Strengthening management of pork product trade in Xiangyang
(Baonghean.vn) - Tuong Duong District (Nghe An) is one of the districts located in the center of the epidemic on National Highway 7A. That makes consumers in this mountainous district worried, so the local government has tightened management of slaughtering and trading of pork products.
The border commune of Mai Son (Tuong Duong) is located next to Ky Son district, where 11 communes have been affected by African swine fever. Therefore, recently, people here have had difficulty buying pork.

That is also the common situation of people in the mountainous district of Tuong Duong before the "storm" of African swine fever that is spreading rapidly in the province.
In some remote communes of Tuong Duong district, food has traditionally been supplied to people’s daily needs mainly through street vendors. Therefore, while African swine fever is spreading widely, the commune authorities have tightened control over street vendors entering and leaving the area.
