(Baonghean.vn) - The Central Bank Youth Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Banking Bloc Youth Union to visit and present gifts to 2 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and 46 policy households, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Nghi Loc district.

On the afternoon of April 27, the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to Heroic Mother Phung Thi Linh and Heroic Mother Vo Thi Hoa in Nghi Khanh commune. Here, the staff of the delegation expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of the Mothers so that the country could be independent and free as it is today.

In Nghi Hoa commune, the delegation presented gifts to representatives of 46 policy families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in the communes of Nghi Trung, Nghi Dien, Nghi Hoa and Quan Hanh town. The total value of the gifts presented was 50 million VND.

This is an activity in the 7th Banking Youth Journey, with the theme "Truong Son Road - Warm Border Love" taking place from April 26 to May 2 in 4 provinces: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri; at the same time, this is also an activity to celebrate the 550th anniversary of the district's establishment and the 125th anniversary of the name Nghi Loc.

The delegation visited, encouraged and gave gifts to the family of Ms. Truong Thi Xuyen, a poor member of the Women's Association of Keo hamlet, with nearly 8 million VND and 200 kg of rice.

Ms. Truong Thi Xuyen (born in 1992), has bone marrow cancer, has had 2 surgeries, now the disease has relapsed, her right leg is atrophied and she cannot walk, she was introduced to go to a central hospital for treatment but has no money so she has to stay home to endure the terrible disease. Her husband has to work hard every day to earn money to cover the cost of living, take care of his sick wife and 3 young children.
