Last school year, both of them achieved Excellent Student status. Nhan and Phuc's circumstances were very difficult, their father died early due to a traffic accident, their mother went to work far away and later passed away due to a relapse of congenital heart disease. The two sisters lived with their grandparents who were nearly 80 years old. In that situation, the 14th Artillery Battalion regularly supported and helped the children every month, especially during the preparation for the new school year.
