Donate wheelchairs to heroic Vietnamese mothers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 27, a delegation of the Labor Union of the Quynh Luu District Government visited and presented a wheelchair to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Lai in Hamlet 4, Quynh Hong Commune.

With the philosophy of "remembering the source of water when drinking", for more than a year now, the Labor Union of the Quynh Luu District Government has taken care of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Lai.

To help mother have the conditions to take care of her health, every month, all officers and employees deduct their salary to contribute to the fund to support mother with 1 million VND. At the same time, they often visit and help mother when she is sick.

Mother Lai is 87 years old this year. Recently, her health has declined. Her back is more bent and she often has pain. To help her have a more convenient means of transportation, on this occasion, the District Government's Trade Union bought her a wheelchair.

Visiting and giving the mother a small gift, the District Government's staff wished her to try to overcome her illness, live happily and healthily to be a spiritual support for her children and grandchildren./.
