Leading Thai corporation to build 3,200ha industrial park in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) – Thailand's leading corporation in the fields of industrial park infrastructure, urban areas, and electricity will invest in an industrial park with an area of3200 hectaresin Nghe An.
On the afternoon of August 24, the Provincial People's Committee continued its regular August meeting with many important contents. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
Attending the meeting were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, permanent representatives of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of departments and branches.

At the beginning of the meeting, the participants listened and gave their opinions on the Project to focus on attracting investment to Nghe An until 2020 in conjunction with improving the competitiveness index and implementing key projects. Next, they listened and gave their opinions on the Project to develop exports in Nghe An for the period 2016-2020; the regulations for unified management of foreign affairs activities in the area and listened to the report on the project to invest in building and trading industrial park infrastructure invested by Hemaraj Industrial Park and Urban Development Company (Thailand).

Regarding the content of attracting investment to Nghe An until 2020, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee concluded: It is recommended to review all projects to urge and handle shortcomings. After 3 years of implementing Resolution 26 of the Politburo, Nghe An's socio-economy has developed more, many investment projects have been implemented faster, and Nghe An's children have returned to their hometown to invest more. However, there are also some slow projects, the province will review to recover some projects.

Regarding the promulgation of regulations on unified management of foreign affairs activities of Nghe An province, this is the third meeting, the Provincial People's Committee unanimously approved.

The Provincial People's Committee also gave its opinion on the Hemaraj Industrial Park and Urban Development Company's project to invest in the construction and operation of industrial park infrastructure in the Southeast Economic Zone, Nghe An province. The estimated survey area is about 3,200 hectares, with the project implementation progress from 2017 to 2028.

Hemaraj Urban and Industrial Park Development Company will implement the project in Dien Chau and Nghi Loc districts of the Southeast Economic Zone. The Provincial People's Committee is expected to hold another meeting on this project at the end of August.
Also this afternoon, the Provincial People's Committee listened to and gave opinions on regulations on implementing civilized lifestyles in weddings and funerals.
