Efforts and goals to increase domestic traceable rice market share
Total domestic consumption is about 10 - 11 million tons of rice each year. Of which, high-quality, branded, and origin-controlled small-bag rice accounts for about 10 - 15% of total rice consumption (about 1.6 million - 1.7 million tons/year). And Tan Long aims to reach 10% of this 1.6 - 1.7 million tons in at least the next 5 years.

The strategy of the representative in the agricultural sector is to flexibly regulate exports and focus on the domestic market. According to Mr. Nguyen Chanh Trung, the domestic rice market has great potential and is suitable for the ecosystem that the group is building.
