TH Group joins hands to spread love of sports to young generation of Vietnam

An inspiring journey for millions of Vietnamese students

On the morning of March 27, in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province, the first stage of the S-Race 2022 attracted the participation of nearly 4,000 students in the province.

Quang Nam is the first destination in the 2022 season of the race for students. With the theme "Courage", S-Race Quang Nam carries the aspiration for a young generation with good qualities such as courage, perseverance and exemplary attitude.

Nearly 4,000 students from Quang Nam province participated in the race with the theme "Courage".

Ms. Ngo Thi Minh - Deputy Minister of Education and Training said: "The themes that follow each other through the milestones of S-Race 2022 in 5 localities: Quang Nam, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, Hanoi and Nghe An will create an inspiring journey and promote the beautiful qualities of the young generation of Vietnam".

In the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, teaching and learning activities are strongly affected, students are limited in physical activities and training when having to comply with social distancing measures to prevent and control the epidemic.

The S-Race in Quang Nam, with the pioneering support of TH Group, has contributed to building a healthy and safe playground for the young generation to develop comprehensively in terms of physical fitness. On the other hand, S-Race 2022 also has significance in connecting the community, spreading positive energy to all classes of people in caring for and developing future generations, the Deputy Minister of Education and Training added.

The race aims to encourage the spirit of physical exercise and sports among students.

Nearly 4,000 students participating in the race in Quang Nam today will be the core to spread the inspirational journey, activating the S-Race Online race for students in 19 provinces and cities in the Central region, thereby contributing to selecting and discovering talented students who have achieved high results in this race to continue to nurture and compete in higher races.

All for the future generation

Entering the second year of accompanying the S-Race student race, Mr. Vijay Kumar Pandey - Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Dairy Foods Joint Stock Company shared: “I myself as well as TH Group are extremely happy and proud that TH continues to accompany the S-Race student race, contributing to "For a strong Vietnam, for the stature of Vietnam". By accompanying the S-Race 2022 student running tournament, TH Group hopes to encourage students to participate more in physical activities and sports to increase resistance and improve health. Health does not only come from nutrition, from clean fresh milk and clean food and beverage products, but also from reasonable physical activities. Taking care of and ensuring nutrition and physical activities is the key to developing the stature, physical strength and intelligence of the young generation.

Sharing more about the journey of caring for and developing health and physical fitness for the young generation, a representative of TH Group said that, in addition to accompanying S-Race, in the 2020-2021 school year, TH has accompanied the Ministry of Education and Training to implement a model of reasonable nutrition combined with increased physical activity for students in 10 provinces and cities across the country. This is the first model that combines a reasonable diet and increased physical activity, emphasizing the importance of a balance between healthy nutrition and physical activity and school sports in taking care of children's health.

TH has accompanied the Ministry of Education and Training in implementing the School Meal Pilot Model to ensure proper nutrition combined with increased physical activity from 2020 to present.

In addition, TH Group has coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training to launch the communication campaign "Happy and Healthy Summer" from June 2020 to September 2020. The campaign not only provides knowledge about physical training in swimming for children, but also calls for the cooperation of families and the whole community in minimizing drowning accidents in children in general and students in particular. Thereby, creating a safe and happy living environment for children's development.

“Happy and healthy summer”, the model of combining proper nutrition and physical activities, along with S-Race are some of the outstanding activities that TH has been, is and will be implementing to accompany Vietnamese children with the core value “For community health”.
