Training to improve skills in controlling inland waterway vehicles and search and rescue work

On the morning of September 8, the Provincial Military Command held the opening ceremony of a training course to improve the level of controlling inland waterway vehicles; fire and explosion prevention, forest fire prevention and control, and search and rescue in 2025.

Attending were: Colonel Hoang Dinh Luan - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command; Heads of departments and agencies of the Provincial Military Command.

This training course has 105 comrades who are officers and professional soldiers of 5 Regional Defense Commands and affiliated units in the entire provincial armed forces.
During the 7 days, the students will study and research the following issues: Some contents on fire prevention and fighting; fire and explosion prevention, forest fire prevention and fighting; features, structure, operating principles, preservation, maintenance, and repair of common failures of rescue boats; rules for ensuring waterway safety; techniques for controlling rescue boats through obstacles and narrow turns; search and rescue methods for people and vehicles in distress...

The training course aims to enhance training for staff and employees of agencies and units to improve their skills in controlling inland waterway vehicles, fire prevention and fighting, forest fire prevention and fighting, and search and rescue. At the same time, it helps trainees apply the knowledge they have learned to the process of performing tasks in line with the practical situation of the locality; always be ready to receive and complete tasks well when situations arise in the area.
