(Baonghean.vn) - Que Phong District People's Committee has just organized a scientific workshop to evaluate the results of building a model of applying scientific and technological advances and discuss solutions for replication.

Attending the workshop were a delegation from the Department of Science and Technology; specialized departments and offices of the District People's Committee; communes and towns in Que Phong district.

At the workshop, absorbing the opinions of experts and opinions from the practice of building models for applying scientific and technological advances, comrade Lang Van Minh - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Chairman of the District Science and Technology Council directed specialized departments, People's Committees of communes and towns to focus on developing and replicating models to create typical products of Que Phong district, such as: Japonica rice, typical Que Phong vegetables and fruits (green squash, upland melon, wild vegetables, etc.), medicinal herbs (cinnamon, yellow flower tea, etc.), focusing on preservation, processing and branding, promoting product promotion.

On this occasion, Que Phong district also organized a workshop to evaluate the results of research on selecting cold-resistant varieties (Japonica) suitable for the climatic conditions of Que Phong district and plans to expand the production model.
