The accident occurred at 10:00 a.m. on May 9, on National Highway 1A, through Block 3, Dien Chau Town (Dien Chau).

According to witnesses, Mr. Tran Minh Thanh (53 years old, residing in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37P7 - 6851 traveling from North to South.

Mr. Thanh suddenly crossed the road when a truck with license plate 37C-126.26 was running behind him. Due to the surprise, the truck driver did not have time to react and crashed into and ran over the motorbike.

As a result, Mr. Thanh was injured and taken to Dien Chau District General Hospital for emergency treatment. Due to the severity of his injuries, the victim was transferred to a higher level hospital. The motorbike was under the truck's wheels and was completely damaged.
