Fishing boat on fire right at the estuary

(Baonghean.vn)- The fishing boat of fisherman Quynh Nghia was anchored at the wharf when it suddenly caught fire. After only 2 hours, the entire boat and property were burned, with an estimated loss of 7 billion VND.

Accordingly, at 1:00 p.m. on July 5, the 4-pole boat of fisherman Bui Tu in Quynh Nghia commune, Quynh Luu district, with registration number NA 92555TS, was anchored at the port in Quynh Nghia commune and suddenly caught fire.

After discovering the incident, the fishermen on the boat called out to nearby locals to put out the fire and save the boat. However, the fire was so large that it caught on the oil tank and burned fiercely.

The smoke was so thick that rescue efforts were unsuccessful. The equipment on board was flammable, so after only 2 hours, the entire hull and property were burned down. The fishermen were forced to move their boats away to avoid spreading the fire to neighboring ships.

The initial cause may have been an electrical short circuit. It is known that the burned ship is worth nearly 7 billion VND. It has been in operation for nearly 5 years./.
