Thus, after the 65,000-ton VANCOUVER ship docked on October 21, today (October 29), the large-tonnage RUBY ship continued to enter Vissai - Nghi Thiet port to receive cement to the Philippines.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tai, Director of Nghi Thiet crushing station, said: Before this ship, on October 26, the port also welcomed an international ship with a capacity of over 30,000 tons to receive cargo. Port officials and workers focused on operating the equipment well to deliver goods and release the ship quickly. According to the plan, by October 31, the RUBY ship will receive all the cargo and leave the port.
Previously, Nghi Thiet crushing station had maintained the machinery and re-checked the rain and dust protection system on the conveyor belt to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
Phase 2, when completed, will be a general port, becoming a multi-purpose international seaport. With a natural depth of 9m, Vissai wharf can accommodate ships of over 100,000 tons. |
