Reckless robber hid in the bathroom, slashed mother and child in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - The perpetrator broke into a house, hid, and waited for the opportunity to steal property. When discovered, he used a knife to attack and slash the homeowner and her child until they were unconscious, and stole many properties.
Thanh Chuong District Police Investigation Agency is criminally detaining Chu Van Sang (born 1988), residing in Thuy Hoa village, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district.
Previously, at around 11:30 p.m. on September 22, Sang broke into and hid in the bathroom of the family of Nguyen Chi Toan (born in 1975), currently residing in Thuy Phong village, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district.
At that time, only Toan's wife, Nguyen Thi Lan (born in 1975), and his mother-in-law, Nguyen Thi Tu (born in 1946), were in the house. At dawn on September 23, when Tu discovered him, he used a knife to attack her, slashing her unconscious. After that, he continued to slash Lan with a knife.
When both victims were unconscious on the spot, herobbery, including: 1 black OPPO F3 mobile phone, 15,000,000 VND, 1 gold ring, 1 gold necklace, 1 gold bracelet and 2 ATM cards and then quickly fled the scene.

After receiving the news, the leaders of Thanh Chuong District Police immediately assigned a working group to quickly go to the scene, deploy professional measures to verify and investigate; at the same time, report the above incident to the leaders of the Provincial Police to ask for direction.
Thanh Chuong District Police have decided to establish a special investigation project, mobilizing all officers and soldiers of the Criminal Police Team on HS-KT-MT to join the investigation, coordinating with related forces to participate in solving the case.
The task force quickly arrested Chu Van Sang nearly 17 hours after committing the crime. At the time of his arrest, he was hiding in an area of Thanh Linh commune, Thanh Chuong district.
Confiscated evidence includes: 12,100,000 VND, 1 gold necklace, 1 gold bracelet, 2 ATM cards and 1 mobile phone.
At the District Police Investigation Agency, suspect Chu Van Sang confessed to his crime.
