'Warm Tet, Warm Spring' of religious followers in Nghe An
During the sacred Tet holidays, together with the people of the province, religious organizations also organize many meaningful activities, expressing the kindness of compatriots for each other, especially for the poor and the disadvantaged.

In the flow of Vietnamese cultural history, Nghe An people have a rich religious life, represented by two main religions: Buddhism and Catholicism. Religions in Nghe An all build their operating guidelines according to religious doctrines, while strictly complying with the State's religious and belief laws and local legal documents.

The strict observance of precepts by religious people has further enhanced the tradition of patriotism, blending and accompanying the nation with the motto: "Religion - Nation - Socialism", building a life of "good life, good religion".
Many religious activities are increasingly closely linked with the political life of the province, blending into the great national solidarity bloc, contributing to creating a land of "spiritual land and talented people" with many unique features of Nghe An homeland.
During the Lunar New Year of At Ty, many activities for the poor of Vinh Diocese, Buddhist Church and other religions in the province have left many good impressions of sentiment, spreading noble human values in the community and society. Along with the program "Nghia tinh dong Lam", continuing the annual program "Tet for the poor" launched by the province, the Vinh Diocese, parishes, congregations and monks, nuns, Buddhists of pagodas, monasteries, and associations in the province have organized donations of over 6.5 billion VND and many gifts such as rice, banh chung, warm blankets, clothes... for poor households, lonely elderly people, and disabled people to celebrate Tet; on the occasion of Tet, many pagodas maintain the programs: "bowl of porridge from the heart", "charity meals" at hospitals in the province.

In particular, the Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee coordinated with the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee to complete the construction and donate 02 Great Solidarity houses to parishioners and Buddhists, worth 100 million VND; organized visits to encourage people with meritorious services, policy families, people in difficult circumstances... with many contents such as: "Warm Tet with love"; "Warm Spring with love"; "Loving Tet"... worth hundreds of millions of VND.

The activities are very meaningful, not only bringing practical gifts but also demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual love and support", "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves", helping the poor, the sick, and the lonely feel the sharing and encouragement from the community. The gifts, though small, contain love and affection, adding strength so that "Everyone has Tet, no one is left behind".

In addition, with the spirit of caring for building a peaceful life, promoting goodness, preserving cultural identity, religious organizations, parishioners and Buddhist monks and nuns have organized many meaningful and practical activities during Tet, such as: The movement of hanging the national flag has been actively responded to by many parishes and religious groups; pagodas organize year-end activities at the end of the year attracting a large number of people and followers to participate. Churches and pagodas organize decoration, clean the environment to prepare for Tet, guide people to participate in cultural, sports, tourism activities and Spring festivals.
Notably, before Tet, a number of religious organizations in the province visited and wished the authorities at all levels and some sectors a Happy New Year on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. In the meetings, congratulations are no longer simply "social" rituals, but to connect together, send messages for peace, solidarity and development, towards the community and people. Religious activities, beliefs and religious work of the State are truly creating a logic of meeting on the journey of building the homeland and the country together.
That also clearly demonstrates the good nature of our Party and State on the issue of belief and religion; at the same time, it also clearly demonstrates the doctrinal nature of the Church and the basic elements that determine the religious structure, the general principles of ethics and the view of perfection and transcendence of time of religions are clearly expressed in all directions of activity.
In a common future, the unity of religions is a major policy of our Party, which is always responded to and accompanied by the local authorities by the churches in the province, especially Catholicism and Buddhism. This is also to enhance endogenous resources, create breakthroughs in development, maintain political security, order and social safety, contributing to the development of Nghe An province commensurate with its position, role and importance, worthy of being the homeland of the great President Ho Chi Minh.
