TH True Milk - the first dairy enterprise to officially export to China

FIRST DAIRY ENTERPRISE EXPORTING TO CHINA

On October 20, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien and his delegation visited and worked at TH Group.

Here, the Deputy Minister said that TH is the FIRST Vietnamese enterprise to be granted a transaction code by China, officially recognized as fully qualified to export dairy products to the Chinese market according to the Protocol on veterinary and public health requirements for Vietnamese dairy products exported to China signed in April 2019. That affirms the product quality of products under the TH True MILK brand.

Previously, on October 16, 2019, the General Administration of Customs of China issued Notice No. 156/2019 on Requirements for inspection and quarantine of dairy products imported from Vietnam, stating that, based on current legal regulations of China and the Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the General Administration of Customs of China, and after a period of reviewing the registration dossiers of Vietnamese dairy product exporting enterprises, the General Administration of Customs of China officially granted the first transaction code to TH Milk Joint Stock Company (TH Milk Joint Stock Company - under TH Group), allowing TH to officially export dairy products to China.

Thus, just 6 months after the Protocol on veterinary and public health requirements for Vietnamese dairy products exported to China was signed, paving the way for Vietnamese milk to be officially exported to the market of 1.4 billion people, Vietnam has had the first company that meets all of China's strict and stringent standards.

The first batch of official milk exported from Vietnam to China under the above Protocol is under the TH True MILK brand with pure sterilized fresh milk products and sterilized fresh milk supplemented with natural flavors...

A METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGY TO DEVELOP THE MARKET OF 1.4 BILLION PEOPLE

Even before the protocol on official fresh milk exports to China was signed, TH also proactively participated in forums, conferences, and trade promotion fairs between Vietnam and China, actively promoting the export of products under 80% milk to the Chinese market early on.

Previously, TH Group had a branch company distributing products in Guangzhou. In April 2019, TH signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation in market development, consumption of food products, agricultural products and milk, fresh, clean, organic dairy products between TH (owner of the TH True MILK brand) and partner Wuxi Jinqiao International Food City - owner of the largest commodity center in China. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and senior leaders of Chinese management agencies.

TH Group will work with Wuxi Jinqiao International Food City to develop the market through wholesale, retail and supermarket channels to deploy a sales network across all provinces and cities in China.

Speaking at the working session with TH Group, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien praised the efforts of the Group as well as the coordination of the units because to have the results like today, they had to overcome a series of technical barriers, after 7 years of negotiation, the Protocol was issued. Vietnamese dairy enterprises - typically TH Group - have proudly officially exported fresh milk products to China, creating trust with 1.4 billion consumers about fresh, clean milk of international standards from the land of Vietnam. TH's success will open up a more positive and large-scale production direction. I wish TH Group and Vietnamese enterprises to export goods to more demanding markets.
