According to the police, Ms. M. recently joined the group “Pickleball Tournament - from the heart of Vietnam” on Facebook. After joining the group, Ms. M. was lured by some people to do money transfer tasks for investment or charity... with the aim of defrauding and appropriating property.
Trusting the scam group, Ms. M. transferred money many times to the account number provided by the subjects, totaling more than 600 million VND.

Realizing she had been scammed, Ms. M. went to the police to report the incident. The authorities are investigating the case.
According to the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention of Ha Tinh Provincial Police, to avoid fraud, people need to be vigilant when joining Pickleball groups on social networks without clearly understanding. In particular, they need to be careful when being asked to deposit money or participate in high-profit investment transactions, easy ways to make money.
