Yen Hoa Ward Police promptly prevented and rescued a young man from being tricked into a "light job, high salary" trap after being lured by a stranger on social media.

On October 5, according to information from Hanoi City Police, Yen Hoa Ward Police promptly prevented and rescued a young man from a scam trap."light work, high salary"after being lured by a stranger on social media.
During a closed patrol of the area, the working group of Yen Hoa Ward Police discovered a young man who appeared to be lost in the Nam Trung Yen area, Yen Hoa Ward. Approaching and questioning, the police identified this person as GAD (born in 2008; Mong ethnic group; permanent residence in Tia Dinh commune, Dien Bien province), who was working at a toothbrush manufacturing company in Hai Phong city.
D. said that through the social network Facebook, he was lured by a person who claimed to be a job broker to work in Thailand with a salary of 50 million VND/month. If D. agreed to accept the job, the person would pick D. up at My Dinh Bus Station, Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi City, then take D. by plane to Thailand to receive the job.
Trusting the subject, D. left the company in Hai Phong, following the subject's instructions to hitchhike to Hanoi. Immediately after receiving the information, Yen Hoa Ward Police took D. to the headquarters. Here, the ward police officers analyzed and explained to help D. understand that inviting people to apply for "light work, high salary" jobs is one of the sophisticated tricks of cyber fraud criminals. Yen Hoa Ward Police contacted D.'s family and assisted, bringing this young man home safely.
Through the above incident, Hanoi City Police advise people to be vigilant and absolutely not believe in invitations to work illegally in Thailand, Cambodia or other countries. In case of being lured, deceived or forced into labor, it is necessary to immediately report to the nearest police station for timely support and handling.
