(Baonghean.vn) - Authorized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, on the afternoon of April 5, representatives of the leaders of the Veterans Association of Nghe An province and the Veterans Association of Yen Thanh district visited and presented gifts to veterans who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in Yen Thanh district.

On the occasion of the 39th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2014) and the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2014), on April 29, the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command organized 2 delegations to visit and present gifts to the families of outstanding veterans living in the province who participated in the fight against French colonialism in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
