Defeating Taiwan, U19 Vietnam has a chance to attend the final round

(Baonghean.vn) - Another difficult match for U19 Vietnam, however, coach Hoang Anh Tuan's students completed their goal of winning 3 points, after a 2-1 victory over host Taiwan (China).

Playing explosively right from the start, U19 Vietnam scored the opening goal in the 21st minute. After the ball hit the post, Tien Anh from a distance of nearly 20m unleashed a powerful shot, hitting the net of the U19 Taiwan (China) goalkeeper.

By the 32nd minute, the score was 2-0 for U19 Vietnam when Hong Son fired a powerful shot, the ball hit the post, bounced back to the opposing goalkeeper and flew into the net. The first half ended and U19 Vietnam temporarily led the home team 2-0.

In the second half, U19 Vietnam took the initiative to play solidly, following the defensive counter-attack strategy. However, the red shirt defense still allowed player number 6 of U19 Taiwan to have a very accurate shot, shortening the score to 1-2.

In the remaining minutes, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team encountered many difficulties. And time was not enough for U19 Taiwan to regain a point. The match ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of U19 Vietnam.
