Highland youth organize football tournament to raise money to help the poor
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 13, Tuong Duong District Youth Union coordinated with the District Youth Union to organize the opening of the men's football tournament. At the tournament, the Organizing Committee launched a campaign to raise funds to help the poor and students in difficult circumstances.

The tournament is a practical activity to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2018), gathering 7 football teams of youth union branches from agencies, departments, branches and organizations in Tuong Duong district. This is also an opportunity for union members and young people to practice health and show solidarity and friendship.
At the same time, through the tournament, the Organizing Committee called on football teams and philanthropists to support and raise funds to help families affected by natural disasters and students in difficult circumstances to excel in their studies.

As a result, right after the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee received nearly 20 million VND. This amount is expected to be used to buy clothes and necessities to help the poor and students in Huu Khuong commune. Currently, the mobilization and appeal for help is still being carried out.
