Man fined 5 million VND for removing Covid-19 prevention and control checkpoint
(Baonghean.vn) - While implementing social distancing according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister, a resident in Nghi Xa commune, Nghi Loc district brazenly dismantled the fixed checkpoint to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic and drove his vehicle outside.
On the morning of September 10, the Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee signed a decision to administratively fine TVH citizen, residing in T. hamlet, Nghi Xa commune, Nghi Loc district, VND 5 million for failing to comply with measures to prevent and control infectious diseases as required by competent agencies and organizations.

Specifically, at 4:15 p.m. on August 27, 2021, Mr. H. dismantledfixed checkpoints to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemicand drive the vehicle through the checkpoint. Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 14 of Decree No. 117/2020/ND-CP dated September 28, 2020 of the Government on administrative sanctions for violations in the health sector, the Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee decided to fine citizen TVH 5 million VND.
