Comrade Lu Dinh Thi - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Que Phong district said that the district highly agrees with the province's rubber planting policy. However, some households encroached on the rubber planting area, the rubber company leveled the land, affecting the environment, causing a shortage of domestic water and production water. Regarding mineral exploitation activities, licensed enterprises have limited capacity, outdated technology, affecting the environment not only in Que Phong but also in Quy Chau district. Voters recommended that the Provincial People's Committee, before granting exploitation licenses to units, must examine their capacity, assess the impact on the environment, and review post-exploitation activities at the mines.
