Along Nghe An's more than 468-kilometer-long land border, where mountain ranges connect the sky to remote villages, the journey to school for border students is a journey of sweat, tears, and determination. Some students cross three streams to get to class on time; others follow the darkest mountain slopes to return home... some isolated schools, barely big enough to fit a few desks and chairs, are the places that nurture the dreams of an entire generation.
