Young teacher of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted was honored as an excellent valedictorian
The ceremony to honor outstanding valedictorians was recently held by Hanoi City and is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
2024 is the 22nd year that Hanoi city has organized the ceremony to honor outstanding valedictorians, demonstrating the city's interest in the cause of education, training, and nurturing the young generation; the recognition and praise for the learning and training results, and the spirit of advancement of the student force. Thereby, contributing to honoring the tradition of studiousness, the policy of valuing talents, creating a movement of studying and conducting extensive scientific research among students, and building a learning society.

According to statistics, among the 100 excellent valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the area who were honored in 2024, there were 40 male valedictorians and 60 female valedictorians; 76 valedictorians with excellent academic results; 24 valedictorians with good academic results; 38 excellent valedictorians who were Party members, 62 excellent valedictorians who were Youth Union and Association officials.
In terms of majors, there are 21 valedictorians in the engineering major, 39 valedictorians in the management - culture - society major, 13 valedictorians in the economics major, and 7, 6, and 14 valedictorians in the pedagogy, medicine - pharmacy, and armed forces majors, respectively.
These are all students who graduated from universities and academies with impressive achievements, many of whom are valedictorians who are party members and “5 Good Students” at all levels. In the list of valedictorians honored in Hanoi city, there are studentsHa Huy Cong, graduated from Biology Pedagogy, Faculty of Biology, Hanoi National University of Education.
Previously, while studying at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Ha Huy Cong won the second prize in the national excellent student competition in Biology twice. After that, he decided to study Biology Pedagogy at Hanoi National University of Education.
In early 2024, after 3.5 years of studying at university, the male student graduated with excellent academic results, achieving an absolute GPA of 4.0. During his university studies, Ha Huy Cong won first prize twice in the Vietnam Student Biology Olympiad in 2022 and 2023, and the individual prize with the highest theoretical score in the 3rd Vietnam Student Biology Olympiad in 2023.
He also won the Second Prize in the Science and Technology Award for students of Hanoi National University of Education in 2023. For many years, he has won the Odon Vallet scholarship for students with excellent academic achievements.
Currently, after graduating, Ha Huy Cong is working at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. He is also one of the few national excellent students in Biology who chose to study Pedagogy./.
