During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always paid special attention to our compatriots living abroad, because the children of the nation living far from their homeland and country are all descendants of Lac Hong, all blood brothers. No matter how long they are away, no matter where they are, what they do, no matter how difficult or arduous, our compatriots always turn to the Fatherland, hoping to return and contribute to the construction of their homeland and country.

The closeness in the meetings, the thoughtfulness in the instructions and advice of President Ho Chi Minh helped the people living far from home to be more deeply aware of their responsibility towards their homeland and country, encouraged them to compete and strive, and together contribute to the common cause of the whole nation.
