Tracking evacuees from China for 3 days
US citizens are being monitored for three days at a military base in California to ensure they do not show signs of illness.

According to US officials, the plane carrying 201 US citizens from Wuhan city landed at March Air Reserve Base, California on January 29.
Speaking to the press, Dr. Chris Braden of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that these citizens are not currently under special quarantine, but they will have to ask for permission if they want to leave the March base before the end of the monitoring period.
None of the 201 passengers showed signs of coronavirus infection when they were screened before leaving Wuhan, or when they were screened a second time in Anchorage, Alaska, during a refueling stop.
Meanwhile, Canadian Foreign Minister Francois Philippe Champagne said on January 29 that the country will evacuate about 160 citizens from the area in China that is currently the center of the new coronavirus.
Foreign Minister Champagne said Canada is in the process of requesting diplomatic permission for the evacuation flight, but it is not yet known how long it will take to complete the evacuation. The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also urged Canadians to avoid unnecessary travel to China./.
