55-year-old contestant competes in Mrs. Vietnamese Global

The organizing committee of Mrs Vietnam Global 2018 recently selected 40 finalists. Sy Luan - a member of the jury and professional advisor - shared that the contest accepts Vietnamese women between the ages of 25 and 55. The youngest contestant in this year's contest is 26 years old and the oldest is 55 years old.

According to Sy Luan, the large age gap does not affect the fairness of the contest because beauty and youth are not the most important factors. Criteria such as courage, life experience, intelligence... greatly affect the final result. "Sometimes people who are 28 or 30 years old are not as profound as women in their fifties when answering questions... I believe the contest will bring many surprises," Sy Luan said.

Being a judge for the first time in a beauty contest, Sy Luan said he did not feel pressured because the contestants were all successful in their jobs and open to the contest.
