However, according to a survey, although it is an item in high demand, especially in the summer weather conditions, fire protection equipment stores in Vinh City are not yet widely available, only concentrated on some streets such as Ngu Hai, Phan Boi Chau... and some stores selling labor protection equipment.

Ms. Van, owner of a shop selling labor protection equipment on Phan Boi Chau Street, said: There are not many shops specializing in fire protection equipment in Vinh City, mainly imported labor protection products. After the recent large fires, people have started looking to buy equipment such as medium and small fire extinguishers, smoke masks, gas masks, etc.Customers are mainly people living in apartments in Vinh City. Although purchasing power has increased, the prices of products remain the same, suitable for everyone."

Fire protection equipment is currently very diverse in design and price, in which the most sought-after equipment is fire extinguishers, priced from 200,000 - 500,000 VND/bottle depending on size; nose and mouth protection masks priced at 55,000 VND/piece; protective masks covering the head of a person priced at 400,000 - 500,000 VND/piece, rescue ladders priced from 70,000 VND/meter... Other equipment such as alarm bells, fire alarm lights... are often installed at construction sites and are not sold individually.
