Cua Lo Town: 99% of businesses pay taxes electronically

(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, Cua Lo Tax Department has strengthened propaganda, mobilization and guidance for local businesses to declare taxes online and pay taxes electronically, so currently there are 317 businesses successfully registered to pay taxes electronically (out of a total of 319 businesses under management) and the rate reached 99%.

Enterprises carry out tax declaration procedures at Cua Lo Tax Department

Thanks to innovation in tax declaration and payment, in the first 6 months of 2016, Cua Lo Tax Department received 1,180 tax declarations in accordance with the procedures, of which 99% of declarations had to be submitted and 67% of declarations were submitted on time. Late tax declarations were penalized by Cua Lo Tax Department to raise taxpayers' awareness in making declarations.

To meet the needs of businesses, Cua Lo Tax Department regularly upgrades new versions, provides guidance on online declaration and electronic tax payment for taxpayers.

In the past 6 months, Cua Lo Tax Department has transferred files to Nghe An Tax Department to request tax code closure of 15 enterprises and tax code closure of 240 business households.
