Cua Lo Town unexpectedly rewards 2 brave individuals for saving drowning people

On the afternoon of April 25, the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town organizedsurprise rewardfor Mr. Dau Minh Yen and Mr. Dau Khac Binh, Vinh Tan block, Nghi Huong ward for their brave actions in saving a drowning person on the morning of April 23.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on the morning of April 23, a group of four tourists went to Cua Lo beach to swim early, unfortunately, there was a strong wind and big waves, so the tourists were swept away, with a high risk of drowning.
Luckily, at that time, two brothers, Dau Minh Yen and Dau Khac Binh, Vinh Tan block, Nghi Huong ward, were preparing to go out to sea when they saw this dangerous situation. The two immediately called out to everyone and rowed a sampan out to sea to rescue the four tourists. Then, together with the locals, they gave first aid on the spot and took them to the town's General Hospital for emergency treatment. Currently, the four tourists have recovered and returned home safely.
Cua Lo Town has issued Decision No. 919/QD-UBND dated April 24 on the unexpected reward for the two brothers Dau Minh Yen and Dau Khac Binh, and the leaders of Cua Lo Town also hope that this beautiful action will spread to keep the coastal city of Cua Lo always safe and friendly in the eyes of tourists from all over.

In the coming time, to ensure absolute safety for residents and tourists when coming to Cua Lo beach, the town has directed wards and functional forces to increase patrols, supervision, and arrange more warning signs of dangerous areas to minimize risks that may occur while swimming in the sea during the tourist season.
