Teenager stole 12 phones to get money to play video games

(Baonghean.vn) - Lacking money to play video games, Cao Thanh Dat (17 years old, residing in Dien Hoa commune, Dien Chau) sneaked into a shop to steal 12 cell phones and then sold them.

Previously, on December 24, Cao Thanh Dat went from his home to the Khanh An phone booth in Dien Thap commune to steal 12 cell phones with a total value of about 70 million VND.

Receiving a report from the phone booth owner, Dien Chau District Police took professional measures and after 4 days of investigation, arrested Dat.

Dat confessed that after stealing the phone, he sold it to many stores in the district for 15 million VND. Dat spent this money on video games. Dien Chau District Police have recovered the above assets.

Because Cao Thanh Dat is not yet of legal age, during the investigation, the responsibility will be assigned to the family for management. After completing the file, it will be processed according to legal regulations.
