Approving the plan to organize the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for Patriotic Emulation

According to the plan, Nghe An province requires: Provincial departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; urban districts; units, enterprises, and associations to launch a peak emulation campaign towards the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2018) with practical and effective contents.

In particular, the focus is on 3 emulation movements "Nghe An joins hands to build new countryside" in the period of 2016-2020, "Nghe An enterprises integrate and develop", "Nghe An joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind".

The commemorative activities at the provincial level are: Carrying out extensive propaganda on the meaning and effects of President Ho Chi Minh's "Call for Patriotic Emulation"; introducing good people, good deeds, advanced models, good and effective ways of doing things in the patriotic emulation movement on newspapers and radio... Carrying out visual propaganda and agitation; organizing photo exhibitions of Uncle Ho with patriotic emulation movements.

The ceremony of offering flowers to report the achievements to Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Square; the ceremony to celebrate and commend and reward advanced models will be held on June 5, 2018, in Vinh city. It is expected that 383 delegates will attend.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: All levels, sectors and units need to organize to thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's patriotic emulation ideology. The organization of emulation movements needs to be summarized, commended and rewarded promptly. Commemorative activities must ensure practicality, effectiveness and avoid waste./.
