More information about the case of a child who was run over and killed by a truck as he got off the school bus
Anh Son District Police said that there is currently no official conclusion on the accident that killed a 5-year-old child, which occurred on Ho Chi Minh Road, passing through Cao Son Commune on November 18. However, the unit's investigation agency did not initiate a case because through investigation, it was determined that the truck driver who directly caused the accident was not at fault.
Previously, Nghe An Newspaper reported that at around 5:15 p.m. on November 18, a school bus stopped on Ho Chi Minh Road, passing through Hamlet 1, Cao Son Commune, Anh Son District, Nghe An Province to let a student off.
When LTKNg, 5 years old, got out of the car and ran across the street to get home, at the same time a truck rushed towards and hit the child. Although the people took the child to the emergency room, the child did not survive.

Regarding the shuttle bus, it was learned that some parents contracted with a local person to pick up and drop off their children. Mr. Cao Duc Cuong, residing in Hamlet 1, Cao Son Commune, Anh Son District, was the driver, the bus had license plate 29B-302.56.
According to the Inspectorate of Nghe An Department of Transport, on September 25, this unit established a team to inspect the operation of contract vehicles transporting students in the whole province, including a vehicle with license plate 29B-302.56. At the time of inspection, the vehicle registration was under the name of Mr. Dao Ngoc Thiet, residing in Yen Giang commune, Ha Dong district (Hanoi). The vehicle was registered until December 24; the badge issued by the Hanoi Department of Transport to Mr. Dao Ngoc Thiet's business household is valid until December 19, 2025.
This vehicle was contracted by Mr. Dao Ngoc Thiet with families to pick up and drop off preschool and primary school students in Cao Son commune. At the time of inspection, the car with license plate 29B-302.56 had a posted sign with a contract vehicle badge, a sign with traffic safety instructions and emergency exits for passengers; posted outside the car with the name at the door and the phone number of the business unit; and a transportation contract between the parent representative and the car owner.
Driver Cao Duc Cuong has a class E driver's license, issued by Nghe An Department of Transport, valid until November 29, 2028.
